2026 KJLS Rules

New rules in 2026 and reminders: 
GENERAL

• KJLS is now a fit show. See page 9 of the General Rules linked below for guidance related to fitting. NEW!
• All species must be on the grounds by 1 p.m. Friday.

​BEEF

• Beef check-in will end 30 minutes earlier. Check-in will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday. NEW!
• This year's heifer show order will be Angus, Charolais, Percentage Charolais, Chianina, Gelbvieh, Hereford, Limousin, Maine-Anjou, Maintainer, Red Angus, Shorthorn, Shorthorn Plus, Simmental, Percentage Simmental, AOB, Commercial. Steer show order will be Angus, Charolais, Chianina, Hereford, Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn, Shorthorn Plus, Simmental, AOB, Crossbred. NEW!

SWINE

• Chester White and Landrace divisions have been added to both the Market Barrow and Breeding Gilt shows. NEW!
